Sidewalk Chalk is an evolution of hip hop, soul and jazz—a six-piece band rolling deep in Midwest Funk, a group who's shared the stage with Questlove, De La Soul and Action Bronson. Their music will make your feet tap-tap-tap, make your body move with every strike of the keys and blast of the horn—bright, expressive, soulful and every bit as wonderful as the people who make it.

RICO: The Gala
MAGGIE: My cat Kiyo, she plays catch and she makes my heart giggle to the max

MAGGIE: Hopleaf, mostly because of proximity. Outdoor patios are my shit

MAGGIE: Redwoods, or I could get all mushy and say in my lover’s arms
